Combat Shotgun

A pump-action shotgun distinct from a riot configuration in one key way: it is loaded to breach doors, locks, and light barriers rather than to disperse a crowd, firing solid slugs with enough force to blow a standard lock clean off a frame. It trades the wide, forgiving spread of a riot load for a single, concentrated impact.

Its report is loud and its recoil significant, so it is almost always a planned, first-moment tool used to force entry before a confrontation properly begins, rather than something drawn mid-fight.
