Halberd

A long polearm combining three striking surfaces in one head - an axe blade for chopping, a spike for thrusting, and a hook for pulling an opponent off balance or dragging them from cover. Its length gives a significant reach advantage over almost any hand-held weapon.

That same length is a serious liability once an opponent closes inside its reach, and its weight and size make it a poor fit for tight interior spaces - a halberd wielder depends heavily on open ground and room to manoeuvre.
