Karambit Blade

A small, sharply curved blade with a ring fitted at the base of the handle for a finger, keeping the weapon secure in the hand even through a grapple or an attempted disarm. Its curve is built almost entirely around a slashing motion rather than a thrust.

Its very short reach and specialised grip mean it rewards a fighter who has trained specifically around it, since the ring grip and reverse-edge technique it favours differ meaningfully from how a standard knife is held and used.
