Katar Push Dagger

A short, fixed blade fitted with a horizontal grip rather than a traditional handle, so a thrust travels in a straight line directly off a closed fist rather than at the angle a normal knife grip would produce. That alignment makes it unusually effective at punching through the gaps in light armour or heavy clothing.

Its very short reach means a wielder has to be genuinely close to use it, favouring fighters already comfortable at grappling range over anyone looking to control distance.
