Serrated Bayonet

A fixed-blade knife built to mount directly to the front of a rifle, extending its reach into close quarters without requiring the wielder to switch weapons entirely, while remaining fully capable as a standalone fighting knife on its own. A short serrated section adds a sawing edge for utility work.

Mounted, it adds useful reach to a firearm at the cost of making the weapon considerably harder to handle quickly at very close range - most wielders mount it only when a fight has clearly moved into hand-to-hand territory.
