Tactical Tomahawk

A single-hand axe descended from the traditional tomahawk pattern, its head paired with a spike on the reverse side for a secondary piercing strike without reversing grip. The balance is tuned for both swung melee use and an accurate overhand throw, giving the wielder a rare weapon that performs credibly at two very different ranges.

Its main limitation is recovery - a thrown tomahawk is gone until retrieved, leaving the wielder to fall back on a sidearm or bare hands until they can reclaim it, which is why most operators who carry one also carry a backup.
