Trench Knife

A short, double-edged fixed blade built around a solid knuckle guard, letting the same weapon serve as both a cutting tool and an improvised set of brass knuckles depending on how a strike is thrown. Its compact size makes it easy to conceal and quick to draw, favouring fast, close engagements over a longer reach weapon.

The knuckle guard also offers the wielder's hand real protection against a grappling opponent trying to disarm them by grabbing the blade hand directly - a small design detail that matters more than it first appears in a genuine close-quarters scramble.
