Twin Hook Swords

A matched pair of curved blades ending in a sharp hook, each capable of catching and pulling an opponent's weapon or limb. The pommels of both blades can lock together, letting the pair be used as a single longer weapon or spun as a wide, hard-to-approach defensive guard.

Mastering both individual and linked use takes considerable training, and a wielder unfamiliar with the transition between the two modes tends to fumble it under pressure - it is a demanding weapon that rewards dedicated practice far more than improvisation.
