Wrist Blades

A pair of short, spring-loaded blades mounted along the forearm beneath a sleeve or gauntlet, deployed instantly with a specific flick of the wrist rather than drawn from a sheath. Their concealment is the entire point - an opponent who has patted down or disarmed a wielder's obvious weapons has no reason to expect a blade appearing from an empty hand.

Range and leverage are both limited compared to a full-length knife, so they function best as a surprise equaliser in the opening moment of a close-quarters ambush rather than a weapon used through a sustained exchange.
